About the role
Overview
Due to our continued growth, we are excited to introduce a new opportunity for a skilled Data Analyst to join our Corporate Services team. While our software product specialises in ingesting data and generating intelligence for customers, we recognise that we have under-utilised our own internal data. This role represents a key investment in building stronger, data-driven decision-making across the business.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in collecting, analysing and visualising complex data, transforming it into clear, actionable insights. You will develop reports, dashboards and analytical models to support stakeholders across the organisation and, where appropriate, external customers. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on strategic and commercial decisions at a global level, whilst ensuring that internal data remains factual, correct, relevant and up to date to ensure our compliance is upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse and interpret complex datasets to support business decision-making
- Design, build and maintain insightful reports, dashboards and visualisations for internal stakeholders and customers
- Use business intelligence tools to present data in a clear, meaningful and accessible way
- Partner with teams across finance, sales, marketing and operations to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights
- Support revenue forecasting, scenario planning and pricing strategy through robust financial and commercial models
- Support all compliance-related work by owning, controlling, and managing the release of data across all company portals. Ensure all information is accurate, compliant, and kept up to date, with full responsibility for maintaining the integrity of data published externally
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities within the data and translate findings into strategic
recommendations - Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reporting outputs
Experience
- Strong analytical expertise with proven experience in data analysis, modelling and commercial reporting
- Proficient in creating clear and impactful data visualisations using Tableau
- Experience building interactive dashboards in Power BI to present complex information effectively
- Ability to manage and query databases using SQL to extract actionable insights
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, particularly AWS, for data management and analysis
Requirements
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic insights
- Commercially minded, with a keen understanding of how data supports business performance
- Experience in a SaaS, e-commerce or fast-paced commercial environment is highly desirable
