About the role

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Solutions Team and help drive data led decision making across the organisation, develop insightful reporting, and play a key role in organisational change projects.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and metrics that support business decision making.

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.

• Use and enhance Power BI dashboards while promoting self service reporting.

• Analyse data to identify trends, solve problems, and support operational goals.

• Lead on data quality improvements, identifying issues and working with Change teams to resolve them.

• Support BI related project activity, ensuring measurable outcomes are delivered on time.

• Provide technical support and advice on reporting tools and data queries.

• Maintain documentation, manage report version control, and retire obsolete reports.

• Continuously develop your BI skills and stay updated on relevant technologies and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Experience with data extraction, reporting tools, and preferably Power BI.

• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insight.

• Great communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, detail focused approach with a passion for improving processes.

Benefits and Compensation
To demonstrate our commitment to you, we have developed a sector leading total rewards package:

  • £41,033 per annum
  • 37 hours Permanent contract
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
